Of course, no TV provider is complete for sports fans without TNT. Below is a list of four live TV streaming services that feature TNT in their base plans.

Get TNT with Max, TNTdrama.com, or an app

Most TNT Originals stream on demand via Max (formerly HBO Max). The streaming service also shows live sporting events from TNT through its B/R Sports Add-On, which is currently free to all Max subscribers.

To watch TNT at TNTdrama.com, sign in with an existing cable, satellite, or live TV streaming account. Occasional shows and movies are available to stream without logging in.

Like the website, the TNT app is free to access but requires a TV provider login to watch most of its content. The app is home to on-demand shows and movies, and you can stream TNT East and TNT West in real time.

What’s the cheapest way to get TNT?

$40.00–$55.00/mo. 50 hr. DVR included; 30+ add-on channels and packages

The cheapest way to stream TNT is with Sling TV. Starting at $40 per month, Sling TV includes TNT in its three base plans. You can also get TBS and truTV, which are crucial companion channels for watching live sports—especially the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

Sling TV is less expensive than other live TV streaming services because it doesn’t offer many local channels. But if you want local coverage, you can still use an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to pick up the slack.

We highlight many great antennas in our Best Antennas for Cord-Cutters guide. You can also get a free antenna through Sling TV when you prepay for two months of service.

What’s on TNT?

TNT’s programming is changing under Warner Bros. Discovery management. You can still catch a blend of hard-hitting dramas, popular movies, and marquee sporting events—including the NBA Playoffs and NHL Playoffs—but the channel is shifting away from original scripted content.

What’s TNT?

TNT is a basic cable network launched by media mogul Ted Turner in 1988 as Turner Network Television, a name previously used by Turner Broadcasting System’s syndication service. Initially, the channel aired older movies and shows before expanding into NBA and other sports coverage.

In 2001, TNT shifted towards more dramatic programming with reruns of ER, Judging Amy, and Law & Order. Other police and medical procedurals have come and gone, but TNT’s NBA coverage remains its centerpiece—unless you live for those 24-hour A Christmas Story marathons it runs annually with TBS.
